David Maturan, born on February 8, 1948, is an American politician representing Michigan's 63rd District in the House of Representatives since November 2014. As vice chair of the House Tax Policy Committee, he also participates in committees focused on Energy Policy, Local Government, and Transportation and Infrastructure. The district covers portions of Calhoun and Kalamazoo counties. Before his state role, Maturen was a commissioner on the Kalamazoo County Board for 12 years, contributing significantly to local governance.
