David Myers, also known as Dave Myers, was an American blues musician born on October 30, 1926, in Byhalia, Mississippi. He was notable for being a member of the band The Aces and was recognized as one of the first blues musicians to play an electric bass guitar. His contributions to the blues genre and his pioneering use of electric instruments have left a lasting impact on music. He passed away on September 3, 2001, in Chicago, Illinois.
