Major-General David O'Morchoe (1928-2019) was a distinguished British Army officer and a notable figure in various Irish organizations. He served as President of the Royal British Legion branch in the Republic of Ireland, as well as the Leinster Regiment historical association and the Tipperary Remembrance Trust. As the hereditary Chief and Prince of the Ó Murchadha Sept, he was part of a lineage with deep historical roots in the ancient Irish dynasty Uí Cheinnselaig, who were once Kings of Leinster.
