David Olof Peter Pagmar, born on September 16, 1983, is a Swedish singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and composer. He is known for his performances under the names Montt Mardié and Monty. As Montt Mardié, he has released three full-length albums and various singles through the Swedish label Hybris. He signed with the Taiwanese label Silent Agreement and the UK label Ruffa Lane in 2007. His UK debut compilation, 'Introducing...the Best Of,' was released in May 2009, followed by his first studio album, 'Drama,' in 2005. In late 2009, he began performing as Monty.
