David Roundy is a physicist notable for his development of the Darcs version control system. He earned a B.A. in Physics and Chemistry in 1995, followed by a Ph.D. in physics from Berkeley in 2001. He conducted postdoctoral research at MIT and Cornell between 2001 and 2006. Roundy served as an assistant professor at Oregon State University from 2006 to 2014 and has been an associate professor since 2014. His research focuses primarily on Condensed Matter Theory.
