David Shamban is an Israeli cellist born on April 5, 1954. He began his cello lessons at the age of seven and had his first public performances at nine. Shamban has received numerous awards and gained his Bachelor of Arts in 1974 from the Rubin Academy of Music. He completed his Master of Music at Yale University in 1982. Known for his performances in major concert halls, he is also a sought-after film musician in Hollywood. In 2003, he moved to Germany to connect more closely with European classical music.
