David Julian Weatherley, born on May 9, 1972, is a former Welsh rugby union international. He began his career at Swansea RFC as a scrum-half before transitioning to fullback, where he made significant contributions. Weatherley was selected for the Wales squad during the 1998 tour of Africa and earned his first Test cap against Zimbabwe. Unfortunately, his debut ended early due to a knee injury that cut short his tour and subsequent appearances for the national team. He later moved to Ebbw Vale RFC in 2001.
