David John Wordsworth (born 9 June 1930) is a former Australian politician associated with the Liberal Party. He served in the Western Australian Legislative Council from 1971 to 1993 and held ministerial roles under Sir Charles Court, including Minister for Transport, Lands, and Forests. Originally from Kashmir, India, he moved to Australia after his father, a British Indian Army general, settled in Tasmania. Wordsworth was educated in prestigious schools, studied agriculture, and farmed before entering politics. He is married with three children and retired in Perth after his political career.
