Davood Shahidi is an Iranian cartoonist, writer, humorist, and architect, born in April 1951 in Tehran. He studied architecture at the University of Tehran and urban architecture at Boston University. Starting his artistic career in 1965, he gained fame for his work in various Iranian magazines. Despite a break due to his travels to the USA, he continued to collaborate with Iranian publications. Known for his black humor and innovative approaches in his artwork, he also creates educational cartoons for children featuring fictional characters.
