Dean Arnold Corll was an American serial killer born on December 24, 1939, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Along with two teenage accomplices, David Owen Brooks and Elmer Wayne Henley, Jr., he kidnapped, raped, tortured, and murdered at least 28 children and young men in a series of killings between 1970 and 1973 in Houston, Texas. These crimes, known as the Houston Mass Murders, came to light when Henley confronted and shot Corll. After bleeding out, Corll's death led authorities to uncover the atrocities committed.
