Deane Kincaide (1911-1992) was an American jazz saxophonist, clarinetist, arranger and composer known for his work in swing and Dixieland music. He played various instruments, primarily focusing on the tenor saxophone. Kincaide was active in the jazz scene from the 1930s to the early 1960s, arranging for notable bands and musicians, including Tommy Dorsey and Benny Goodman. He also served in the U.S. Navy and continued to perform and arrange music until his retirement in 1981, leaving behind a legacy of 292 recorded works.
