Deise Falci de Castro is a Brazilian fencer born on January 2, 1980, in Porto Alegre. She began fencing at the age of nine and trained in Italy at seventeen. Deise is married to Italian coach Pier Luigi Chicca and upon returning to Brazil, she started manufacturing fencing equipment for local fencers. She competed in the 2007 Pan American Games held in Rio de Janeiro, where she was eliminated in sabre competition and served as a reserve for the women's foil team that finished fourth.
