Deitre Collins is a prominent American volleyball coach and former player, born on March 3, 1962. She gained recognition after competing in the women's tournament at the 1988 Summer Olympics and winning the Broderick Award in 1983 and 1984 for excellence in collegiate volleyball. With experience playing professionally in Italy and France, she transitioned to coaching after retiring in 1992. Collins has held positions at multiple universities, including Houston and UNLV, and is currently an assistant coach for the San Diego Mojo in the Pro Volleyball Federation.
