Taylor has a rich musical lineage, with family ties to other blues talents, including her step-brother Larry Taylor and her late brother Eddie Taylor Jr. Her mother, Vera Leevera, was also part of the music scene. Demetria has released two albums through Delmark Records throughout her career.
