Dennis Palmer was an American jazz and improvisational musician known for his expertise with synthesizers and live electronics. He co-founded the improvisation duo The Shaking Ray Levis in 1986 with Bob Stagner, releasing two albums in the 1990s. Palmer collaborated with notable artists such as Derek Bailey, John Zorn, and Fred Frith, and participated in various musical ensembles. In addition to his music career, he was a visual artist and helped establish the Shaking Ray Levi Society, a non-profit organization in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
