Derek Hobson is a Northern Ireland born television and radio broadcaster and journalist recognized as the original host of ITV's New Faces. His work on the show helped introduce notable talents such as Lenny Henry and Victoria Wood to a large audience. Hobson also served as a continuity announcer for ATV in Birmingham and co-presented Not For Women Only. Additionally, he created and presented the game show That's My Dog, which aired on the ITV network for four years starting in 1984.
