He signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent in 2015 before joining the Washington Redskins. His career faced a significant setback when he was involved in a car crash that resulted in the death of his girlfriend. Initially charged with involuntary manslaughter, he eventually pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of reckless driving and was released by the Redskins in 2021.
