Desi Arnaz (March 2, 1917 – December 2, 1986) was an American filmmaker, actor, comedian, and musician. He is best known for his roles in films such as Holiday in Havana (1949), The Long, Long Trailer (1954), and Aloha (2015), as well as the television series I Love Lucy (1951). He was a prominent figure in the entertainment industry and a pioneer in television production. Desi Arnaz Jr. is his son.
