She has an Ethiopian father and a Norwegian mother and holds a bachelor's degree in media studies from the University of Bergen. Before becoming a weather presenter, she worked for TV 2 for a year in communication and planning divisions. Beeder became the 20th weather presenter for TV 2, debuting on March 23, 2011. After leaving TV 2 on November 30, 2016, she joined Vimond while remaining based in Bergen. She also hosts 'God morgen Norge' and co-hosted 'God sommer Norge'.
