Bommagani Dharma Bhiksham was a prominent leader of the Communist Party of India, serving in the 10th and 11th Lok Sabha, and elected to the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly three times. A renowned freedom fighter during Telangana's struggle against the Nizam, he also led the All India Toddy Tappers and Workers Federation as President. He was born on 15 February 1922 and passed away on 26 March 2011 due to cardiac arrest after suffering from a lung infection following a leg fracture.
