Diana Golden Brosnihan (1963-2001) was an accomplished American disabled ski racer. After losing a leg to cancer at the age of 12, she became a prominent athlete, winning 10 world and 19 United States championships as a three-tracker. Notably, she secured an Olympic gold medal in giant slalom at the 1988 Calgary Games. Golden also participated in two Winter Paralympic Games, claiming two gold medals in 1988. Following her retirement, she faced cancer again, leading to her passing in 2001.
