Diane Nyland Proctor was a Canadian actress, director, and choreographer born on January 20, 1944. She gained recognition for her role in the 1970-71 CTV series The Trouble with Tracy. After starting her career with the National Ballet of Canada, she transitioned to acting in the mid-1960s and had notable roles in Anne of Green Gables - The Musical and Johnny Belinda. After her television career, she moved into directing and choreography, creating many successful musical theatre productions in Toronto and touring nationally until her passing in 2014.
