Dibyendu Palit (born March 5, 1939 - died January 3, 2019) was an Indian Bengali writer from Bhagalpur, Bihar. He completed his M.A. in literature and began writing novels, stories, poetry, and essays in 1955. Many of his stories have been adapted into Bengali and Hindi films, as well as television and radio programs.
