Dick Boccelli was an American drummer and actor, born in 1924 in Yeadon, Pennsylvania. He played with Bill Haley & His Comets until 1955, then formed The Jodimars, which disbanded in 1959. After rejoining Haley's Original Comets in 1987, he toured Europe and the USA. He was a member of The Ready Rockers since 2013 and acted in small roles in films and TV since the 1970s. Boccelli was married to Elizabeth Kurtz until her death in 1986 and later to Shirley Kubaska until his own death in 2019.
