Diego Fernando Murillo Bejarano, also known as Don Berna or Cdte. Adolfo Paz, is a Colombian paramilitary and drug trafficker. He gained notoriety as the 'General Inspector' of the Autodefensas Unidas de Colombia (AUC) and was the commander of the Cacique Nutibara and Heroes de Granada blocks. Beginning his criminal career in the Medellín Cartel, Murillo was involved with the Los Pepes group and later led the feared La-Terraza gang in Medellín. He played a significant role in peace talks with the Colombian government before being extradited to the USA in 2008 and sentenced to over 31 years in prison.
