Diemer True is an American politician born on February 12, 1946, in Wyoming. He served in both the Wyoming House of Representatives and the Wyoming Senate as a member of the Republican Party. True was the President of the Wyoming Senate from 1991 to 1993 and held various positions within the Wyoming State Republican Party. He was the chairman of the Independent Petroleum Association of America from 2001 to 2003 and was recognized for his contributions to the domestic energy industry with the Chief Roughneck award in 2008.
