Dietmar-Christian Riemer, born on October 24, 1951, in Krefeld, is a German radio journalist. He studied Political Science and Law, becoming active in media as a reporter and editor at Süddeutscher Rundfunk in 1980. He became the head of domestic politics at Bayerischer Rundfunk in 1989 and later served as program director of NDR 1 Radio MV for a decade. In 2004, he became the head of the NDR studio in Berlin, a position he held until his retirement in May 2016.
