Dindo Fernando, born Jose Tacorda Chua Surban on November 19, 1940, was a Filipino actor known for his performances in film and television. He gained fame for his role in the film Bulung-Bulungan from Sampaguita Pictures, where he played a suitor of Nida Blanca. With Chinese ancestry, he was part of the Stars '66 group of actors. He received accolades including Best Actor at the Urian Awards for 'Ikaw at ang Gabi' in 1979 and at the FAMAS for 'Langis at Tubig' in 1980. He is also recognized for his role as Col. Leo Alicante in the series 'Flor de Luna' from 1978 to 1986.
