Dmitrij F. Lupishko is a Ukrainian astronomer, born in 1942, who is known for founding the Kharkiv asteroid science school. He served as the head of the Department of Physics of Asteroids and Comets at the Kharkiv Observatory from 1989 to 2012. Lupishko has contributed significantly to his field and was awarded the State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology in 2010 for his accomplishments in astronomical research.
