Dmitry Ivanovich Dyakun, born in 1939, is a distinguished forest specialist of the Russian Federation. He is known for initiating and creating the largest cedar plantings in Primorsky Krai. Dyakun served as the chief forester from 1968 to 1985 and as the director from 1985 to 2007 of the Kirovsky Leshoz. His contributions to forestry and the local environment earned him the title of honorary citizen of the Kirovsky district in Primorsky Krai.
