Dmitry Fomin is a former Russian volleyball player, born on January 21, 1968. He played for the Soviet Union men's national team, winning a bronze medal at the 1990 FIVB World Championship in Brazil. Fomin represented the Unified Team in the 1992 Summer Olympics and the Russian team in the 1996 Summer Olympics. He achieved notable success, securing a gold medal and MVP award at the 1991 FIVB World Cup. Fomin also competed in the 1994 FIVB World Championship and won the MVP award at the 1995 FIVB World League.
