Dmitry Mikhailovich Kovalyov (June 17, 1915 - March 5, 1977) was a Russian and Soviet lyric poet, known by the pseudonym Setcin V. He began publishing in 1938, with his first works appearing in the newspaper 'Polesskaya Pravda.' His landscape poetry features vivid elements of his native Gomel region and Kursk, where he spent much time. He wrote critical articles and translated poetry and prose from Belarusian authors. Notable works include poems dedicated to his homeland and an autobiography up to 1945.
