Dmytro Hryhorovych Luk'yanenko, born on August 8, 1955, in Sukhynichi, Russia, is a prominent Ukrainian economist and scholar. He holds a Doctorate in Economic Sciences and is a professor and distinguished scientist recognized for his contributions to science and technology in Ukraine. Luk'yanenko is also a laureate of the V. M. Ptukh Prize from the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. He serves as the chair of the 'International Economics' subcommittee of the Scientific and Methodological Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Additionally, he is the rector of the Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman.
