Đỗ Văn An (1932-1972) was a senior infantry officer in the Army of the Republic of Vietnam. He was among the first graduates of a military officer training school established by the Vietnamese government with French military support. During his service, he advanced from squad leader to commanding officer of an infantry regiment. He was killed in action in 1972 while serving as a colonel and was posthumously promoted to the rank of brigadier general.
