Dominggus Mandacan is an Indonesian politician from the Nasdem national democratic party, born on December 16, 1959, in Manokwari. He belongs to the Arfak tribe of West Papua. Mandacan ran for the governor of West Papua in 2012 but lost; however, he won in 2017 and has been serving as governor since May 12, 2017. His election was supported by several political parties, including the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle. Before his governorship, he served as the regent of Manokwari and the Pegunungan Arfak region.
