Dominic Kokkat CST is a retired Roman Catholic Bishop born on February 23, 1932, in Vaikon, Kerala. He joined the Little Flower Congregation in 1953 and studied at seminaries in Kandy and Pune. Ordained a priest on October 4, 1960, he held various positions within his order. Appointed as the Bishop of the newly established Eparchy of Gorakhpur in June 1984, Kokkat was consecrated on October 4 the same year. He founded the Congregation of the Little Sisters of St. Therese in 1988 and retired in July 2006.
