Donald Joseph Ciccone (1946–2016) was an American singer, songwriter, and musician known as a founding member of the pop group the Critters. He wrote hits like 'Mr. Dieingly Sad' and performed with The Four Seasons, contributing to songs such as 'December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night)'. After leaving the Four Seasons, he ran a jingle business and played with Tommy James and the Shondells. In his later years, he formed a supergroup called The Hit Men. Ciccone passed away from a heart attack in Idaho at age 70.
