He played in the NFL for the Washington Redskins and Chicago Bears after playing college football at Indiana University. Croftcheck was drafted in the eighth round of the 1965 NFL draft and was also selected in the seventeenth round of the same year’s AFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs.
