Don DaGradi (March 1, 1911 - August 4, 1991) was a writer at Walt Disney Studios who began as a layout artist in the 1940s. He eventually moved into animated features with the film 'Lady and the Tramp' in 1955. DaGradi also served as a color and design consultant on many other Disney animated films. His greatest achievement was the visual script for the 1964 film 'Mary Poppins,' for which he earned an Oscar nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay with Bill Walsh. He was posthumously named a Disney Legend.
