Don Hasman is an Indonesian photographer known for his work in ethnophotography, which he has pursued since the 1980s. His photography concentrates on anthropological aspects of remote regions in Indonesia, stemming from his visits to these areas. He began exploring photography at the age of 11 in 1951 with his brother's Voigtländer camera. Hasman believes that capturing everyday life through photography allows one to pause time, as the resulting images differ from the moment they were taken.
