Donald A. Koehler (1925–1981) was an American man known for being one of the tallest individuals in medical history, reaching a height of 8 feet 2 inches (249 cm) due to gigantism. Recognized as the tallest living man from 1969 until his death, he experienced abnormal growth starting at age 10. Born in Denton, Montana, Koehler was part of a family with taller-than-average parents. His unique stature led to challenges in finding properly fitting clothing, especially socks. Despite these difficulties, he gained fame and recognition from the Guinness Book of World Records.
