Gabriel Linhares da Rocha, known as Don L, is a Brazilian rapper and songwriter born on January 18, 1981, in Fortaleza. He is considered one of the most influential figures in contemporary Brazilian rap. In 2006, he co-founded the rap group Costa a Costa with Nego Gallo, which gained national recognition by winning the Hutúz Award, the principal hip hop award in Brazil during the first decade of the 2000s. Don L continues to have a significant impact on the national rap scene.
