He achieved various accolades including winning the Vancouver Island championships in 1966 and the Dorval Open in 1974. He was a runner-up in both the Pacific Western Indoors in 1967 and 1968, and competed in Wimbledon mixed doubles. As a member of the Canadian Davis Cup team, he had notable wins and was recognized as Canada's top ranked player in 1974.
