Donal Gerard Lenihan, born on September 12, 1959, is a retired Irish rugby union player. Post-retirement, he frequently serves as a co-commentator for rugby matches on TV and radio, and contributes to the Irish Examiner. Additionally, he works as a financial consultant in Cork. Lenihan is a notable figure in rugby, having been inducted into both the Munster Rugby Hall of Fame in April 2019 and the Rugby Writers of Ireland Hall of Fame in November 2013. He was named Irish rugby's Player of the Decade for the 1980s and served as President of Cork Constitution Rugby Club for 2020-2021.
