Donald John Pfeil (born November 28, 1937, Los Angeles, California; died March 30, 1989, there) was an American science fiction author. His three novels, 'Voyage to a Forgotten Sun' (1975), 'Through the Reality Warp' (1976), and 'Look Back to Earth' (1977), entertainingly reflect the style of classic space operas. In 1976, he wrote a tie-in for the animated series 'Return to the Planet of the Apes.' Additionally, he served as editor for the science fiction magazine 'Vertex' from 1973 to 1975.
