Donald Peck is an American flutist who has played with various prestigious orchestras, including the Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Seattle Philharmonic Orchestra, and the National Symphony Orchestra of Washington. He became the principal flutist of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in 1958, a position he held until his retirement in 1999, working with renowned conductors. Additionally, he taught flute at DePaul University and authored a book reflecting on his experiences with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra titled 'The Right Place, The Right Time!', published in 2007.
