Donald W. Parry is a prominent American academic and professor of Hebrew Bible at Brigham Young University. He holds the Abraham O. Smoot Professorship and specializes in the Dead Sea Scrolls and Hebrew Bible. Since 1994, he has been part of the International Team of Translators of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Parry has authored or edited over forty books and published more than eighty articles, contributing significantly to biblical scholarship. He co-founded the Wilford Woodruff Papers Foundation and actively serves on several academic boards, enhancing research and understanding in his field.
