Donald John Wilkinson is a Scottish former cricketer and educator, born on February 14, 1955, in Irvine. He attended Lancaster Royal Grammar School and earned a first-class degree in history from Keble College, Oxford. While at Oxford, he played first-class cricket, making four appearances and taking seven wickets. Wilkinson has had a notable career in secondary education, serving as headteacher at Cheadle Hulme School from 1990 to 2000 and at St Christopher School from 2004 to 2006, as well as holding positions overseas, including at Bearwood College before its closure in 2014.
