Dondi E. Costin is an accomplished American academic and Baptist minister, born on August 21, 1964. He notably served as the Chief of Chaplains of the United States Air Force from 2015 to 2018, after which he retired. Following his military career, he was president of Charleston Southern University until mid-2023. Recently, on March 31, 2023, Costin was appointed president of Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, continuing his leadership in higher education.
