Born on December 5, 1973, he has held various political positions, including as a member of the Sumedang Regional House of Representatives, West Java Provincial House of Representatives, and the Indonesian House of Representatives from 1997 to 2018. He won the 2018 Sumedang Regent election and was inaugurated on September 20, 2018. Additionally, he earned a doctorate in accounting from Universitas Padjadjaran Bandung in 2020.
